I love getting to grips with complicated ideas, and this has led to a specialism in Credit, Capital Markets and Special Situations. I have found that in grappling these strategies and roles I have come to a better understanding of what makes a good hire for them. It’s always an edge to find your work interesting!
I love London’s history and one of my great personal loves is the works of Dickens. Our offices in London are really in the middle of this history, with Fleet street down the road, medieval buildings sitting between the skyscrapers, and regular haunts of Dickens himself marked with blue plaques. I have started to spend my lunch breaks walking around our offices to take advantage of being in this historic area.
I love being able to work with impressive people everyday, in my colleagues, candidates and the funds we work with. The Kea team are great to be around in the office and, at least as importantly, at the pub at the end of the week
Positive Energy. Being positive, friendly and helpful to those around you brings the energy of a room up. It makes people happier and makes us all more likely to solve problems and to reach positive outcomes. That doesn’t mean ignore difficulties, but to come at them with a bit of Positive Energy.
