My favourite part of the role is that no day is ever the same and that each day genuinely flies by! Whether it be meeting with candidates, joining client calls, or conducting market research, each day I leave feeling as though I have learnt something new and been challenged in one way or another which I love.
Success is about being that search partner that candidates feel they can connect with and trust, not only during the good moments, but through the challenging ones too.
What does success mean for you at Kea?
Helping as many candidates as possible to find and secure their dream buyside role. With how much time we spend with candidates, not just during a specific hiring process but also for the years leading up to and after them, their wins (and losses) feel more than just professional, they feel personal. We truly do go on a journey with each and every candidate we work with.
Which of the Kea values speaks to you the most (and why)?
Given that headhunting is a people business at heart, I feel our value of being relationship first is something I aim for every day and which resonates with me the most. Ultimately, I love speaking with candidates and forging meaningful relationships with them as it is something that comes quite naturally to me.
My edge?
Coming from both an elite sport and financial background (both academically and professionally) has given me a unique perspective. I have always been a very driven and ambitious person which helped me to succeed during my career as an elite figure skater, but I believe it is my ability to combine these traits with my experience working in Asset Management and Investment Consulting, which has helped me to standout and see things through a different lens.
